Sindha Agha is a BAFTA-winning and Emmy-nominated director & writer working in film & TV.
Sindha’s first documentary, "Birth Control Your Own Adventure" for The New York Times, was nominated for an Emmy and went viral with 12.5 million views. Her first narrative project, the short-form comedy anthology “How to Be a Person” for Channel 4, won a BAFTA.
Sindha is the recipient of American Film Institute’s DWW+ fellowship, two Sundance Institute fellowships, has won the Cannes Lions Gold Young Director Award, Young Guns, wrote & co-executive produced the Emmy-nominated Netflix series “The Principles of Pleasure,” directed two seasons of her short-form series “Body Language” for BBC Three and contributed to Radiolab, The New Yorker, Vox and The Atlantic. She has guest lectured at universities including MIT, UC Berkeley and NYU, and served on the jury of AFI Fest and NFFTY.
