Sindha Agha is a Pakistani-American filmmaker & photographer from rural Illinois who creates intimate, anthropological works that harmonize humor and sadness. Sindha experiments with documentary & narrative genres to illustrate how social forces shape deeply personal experiences. "Birth Control Your Own Adventure," her hybrid personal documentary about systemic sexism in reproductive healthcare, has reached nearly 10 million views – making it the New York Times’ most popular Op-Doc. Sindha is currently based in Los Angeles and is a 2018 Sundance Ignite Fellow.
